| Frequently Asked Questions
What is Email Counseling and how do you guarantee it?Most people need some form of help at different points in their lives. Individual or couples counseling is the traditional method of getting assistance with just about any issue. Email counseling provides similar services but with the added advantage of having a record of each session. We are so confident about the quality of the counseling services, that we offer an unconditional money-back guarantee. If you're not completely satisfied, we'll refund your money in full.
How does Email Counseling work and how do I begin? You'll start by
choosing a Counseling
Service and filling out the Counseling Request form. We send you some detailed questions
right away, usually within a few hours. You send back your answers and then get a
response that contains the following: d. Tools that you can use to continue growing on your own. e. Suggestions on where to go from here. When you start your counseling session, take
the time to present your situation clearly, including as much detail as you can. If you're not sure what kind of information to include in your
request, read the suggestions for making a
counseling request.
How long is one Email Counseling session? Can my problems be solved in one session?Usually not in one session, unless it is a longer one. Many people, however, find the initial guidance quite helpful. If you then wish to continue, you can purchase further sessions. Just talking openly about your issue without feeling judged can help, but our focus is on giving you advice that works. This can be a one time session or it can be a few e-mails a week or month, or for a longer period of time, whatever works for you. OnlineCounseling.org does ask that if you decide to discontinue therapy to let us know. The length of the counseling response depends on the Counseling Service you choose, which can be from 15 minutes to two hours. Counseling time is based on the time it takes to read what you write plus the time it takes write back to you.
What kind of issues do you deal with?Just about anything, whether you need coaching, advice, guidance, motivation, or inspiration. The counseling is always tailored to your individual needs.
